It feels almost impossible to compile this list when Greenville has such a large foodie scene with limitless options for dining. While we love Greenville and recommend a trip there, we highly recommend visiting downtown Greer with its brick paved streets and twinkling lights overhead. One of our family favorites! Very large selection – 60+ house crafted beers on tap, plus ciders, wine, and cocktails brewed in house. Everything on their menu is made from scratch, they have delicious seasonal options and daily specials, and everything we’ve tried was delicious. Great for a date night, hang out spot, watching a game, or bringing the family. Kids and pets welcome – they have a large outdoor yard and covered patio with heaters.
Scandi Tiny Coffee House – coffee – 301 Simply Less Circle, Greer, SC
Just a minute away, a unique coffee experience. Great outdoor seating areas (some covered), swing set area, fire pit, great indoor spaces for working or meeting up. Family friendly, great tea and non-coffee options.
SELECT Restaurant – casual fine dining – 112 Trade St, Greer, SC 29651
Fine dining and high-end menu items and drinks with an inventive twist in a casual, lively setting. Located in downtown Greer, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. Delicious, perfect for a date night or special night (or breakfast) out.
Merrell’s Pizza – pizza delivery, carryout – 1207 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC
Great pizza delivered to the house. Hungry? Try their 28″ grande pizza for a fun night-in. This is the place we recommend to all guests for local pizza delivery (and use for our own family pizza nights).
Wild Ace Pizza – dine-in pizza, carryout – 103 Depot St, Greer, SC
Delicious dine-in pizza, large dining area, large outdoor dining space, and walking distance to nearby Greer City Park and located right in downtown Greer. Family friendly, large local beer selection, really great place. Pizza is also available for carry-out.
Cartwright Food Hall – various – 215 Trade Street, Greer, SC
A large historic building home to Little Leaf Coffee, Anonymous Burger, Momo’s Sushi and More, Nay Min Asian Cuisine, Trade Street Taproom, and Hendrix Chicken and Waffles (in the carriage house next door). This beautifully designed food hall features many delicious food options, upstairs seating, and occasional live music. The coffee shop inside has unique seasonal lattes and non-coffee drinks. Southside Smokehouse – Southern BBQ, cajun, eclectic – 726 South Howard Ave Landrum, SC
Located near the mountains in nearby Landrum (25 min away), yet if you’re looking for Carolina BBQ, this is the one we recommend! Specializing in traditional BBQ with a Louisiana Cajun/Creole twist. We enjoy their smoked meat platters, shrimp n grits, and trying new things from their daily specials. Chef Sarah McClure is known for her inventive dishes, delicious flavor combinations, appearing multiple times on the Food Network. Great local beer selection, AMAZING crafted drinks by their award winning bartender.
